I was a size 10 and 153 pounds five years ago. For two years, I got frustrated with trying to follow traditional weight-loss methods. I am also a military vet–Air Force Staff Sargent. You may also be surprised to know that I was a C-141 C-5 Cargo Airplane Mechanic. I worked on air conditioner and pressurization systems–like, making repairs to oxygen masks that fall during take-off.  In 1990, I was a single parent, raising two boys, Army brat, bought my first home in Aurora, Colorado.
