Voted #1 for Denver Laser by Channel 7 A- List
Q. How long does the whitening last?
A. This depends on the person’s habits and the porosity of the teeth. The results will depend on may factors we will discuss. Expect 2-3 20 minute sessions for maximum results.
Q. Is it true that some redheads can’t get their teeth white?
A. This is accurate and the reason is really unknown at this stage. The pigmentation of the tooth with some true redheads tends to be more on the gray side, the whitening process does not work as well on this pigmentation. You can receive minimal results with teeth whitening but may not feel the cost is worthwhile given the issues.
Q. How many shades can I really expect in one visit?
A. Most providers use the pre-filled trays that will cause sensitivity, therefor can only provide one session at a time (sometimes 2), and you are charged for any additional session you may need to achieve your desired results. Because we use the newest technology with the cheek re-tractor, the LED light does not have to go through the plastic tray so responds much better. With this system you will not have the extreme sensitivity, as a result we will perform 2-3 15-20 minute sessions on you in one visit. Given this we can get between 2-7 shades whiter in the one hour. As always there are variables and exceptions to the rule. Fair skin, redheads and teeth that are badly decayed may not respond as well to whitening. Additionally, any porcelain veneers you may have do not respond to whitening. In addition, this depends on the person’s habits and the porosity of the teeth. The results will depend on may factors we will discuss. Expect 2-3 20 minute sessions for maximum results.
Q. Will it hurt? What about sensitivity?
A. The process itself is very easy and even relaxing. You should not feel pain on burning while being treated with our system. With all systems you may be subjected to sensitivity or gum irritation. While this is always possible, our system provides the lowest risk. Taking Motrin at the onset should help subside any sensitivity.
Q. What type of light do you use?
A. The Futura 2000 that we use is the most powerful lamp in the industry at 20 W. You will get the best results from this lamp. Beware of companies who have old equipment as your results will be dramatically diminished over the latest technology
