Glycolic and Lactic Acid work synergistically to exfoliate the skin while reducing irritation and dryness. Because of Glycolic Acid’s molecular structure, it penetrates quicker and deeper while Lactic Acid increases moisture. Little to no exfoliation may be visible although your skin is smoother to the touch.

Our deepest peel at Parker Day & Med Spa. Great for acne-prone skin and to improve acne scarring, fine lines and to reveal fresh skin. You will experience redness, scabbing and peeling and up to 14 days healing time. Make-up is not easily worn during this process. Normally, two-three days after the peel your skin starts to feel dry. It is important to keep a thick moisturizer applied at all times, as well as sunscreen with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide as your skin can hypo-pigment or hyper-pigment with this process (lighten or darken). Two-four days after this, the skin starts to exfoliate. Let your skin exfoliate on it’s own until day eight because it is possible to you can scar yourself! Great to remove acne scarring (not pitting), fine lines, helps with wrinkles, as well as toning your skin. This is not to be done while you are tan as the process will permanently remove your natural skin tone.

You will have a few days of down time while your skin repairs itself and peels to reveal fresh younger looking skin. Depending on how many layers are applied, it can reach the upper layer of the dermis (the papillary dermis). Moderate to high erythema (redness) will occur; peeling will also occur, and some crusting of the skin is possible. Peeling can last up to seven days.
